SF6 - Gas density monitoring
Trafag SF6 gas monitoring devices measure the gas density directly with patented technologies. This also allows monitoring of SF6 gas mixes.
Switching SF6 gas density monitors uses a unique gas density reference principle. The technique is very resilient to temperature changes and vibrations, the robust design is not subject to wrongful switching (contact bouncing) due to vibrations or shocks.
SF6 Gas Density Sensors uses a patented direct gas density measurement technology with quartz tuning forks. The technology measures the gas density direct instead of calculating the density from pressure and temperature. The sensors are temperature stable, maintenance free, vibration and shock proof and has excellent long-term stability.
